Full Moon in Aries & Autumn Equinox?

This week’s forecast is certainly a fresh hell...but in a cutie spooky way

This will be one of the most pivotal weeks of the year. I don’t say that lightly but there is so much astrologically afoot with the full moon in Aries and the Autumn Equinox. If you only read one of my forecasts for the rest of the year, let it be this one. Also, not usually my thing but this forecast may be best as a journaling practice.

We’ve been doing a lot of work this summer on determining what is actually “for” us and what we need to walk away from. I wouldn’t be surprised if you just quiet quit a job, relationship, or friendship. The Eight of Cups has us simply walking away while the World closes the door behind us. But what now? Where did that door lead? Enter The Star. The Star is an odd figure which makes sense with its Aquarian energy. Like, girl, why are you pouring water onto the ground…? The water is possibility, dreams, potential, the vast pool of universal knowledge and wisdom. Aquarians have a god complex? News to me. But as we kneel naked in the cradle of creation, of all that has been and will be, of all that is possible, what do we see reflected back to us? Who are you and who do you want to be? Are they the same or do you find some differences?

I think this is where the advice for the week comes in. I struggled a bit this week with the obvious juxtaposition of The Emperor and The Devil. We see Aries energy in the Emperor and Capricorn energy cropping up again (The World is Cap) in the Devil. Look at the imagery here. Two very different iterations of a throne. I spent the past few hours researching Aries and Capricorn along with the Emperor and Devil. They seemed almost opposite to me. Aries, the spark of life or flash in the pan fire sign, seems more fit for the Devil. How could the hard-working and unrelenting Capricorn not be the Emperor? I bring you back to the Star’s pool. Remember I said it’s asking who you are and who you want to be to be? I think we’re seeing the best of Aries and the worst of Capricorn on purpose. Where does our spark need to grow into an enduring flame? What obligations, routines, or responsibilities have we chained ourselves to? How do you want to be living your life? How do you want to relate to others?

The shadow or challenge of the week is very similar. Another man on a throne, the King of Swords (an Aquarius, btw), paired with Judgment, asks us once again to consider the type of leader or authority we want to be. There’s no use not being honest here. The Scorpian trumpets of Judgment will blast away any illusions that the Aquarian king already saw. The Eight of Wands, rounding out the shadow, really got me excited. We started with the Eight of Cups and are ending with Wands. I did ask for a clarifier here since so much of the energy is static and unmoving. The vibe is on high (literally) with Aquarius, Capricorn, and all the butts on thrones. We’re above it all, looking down. The Three of Pentacles reminds us to stay grounded while pondering these major life choices. Rely on your support system since they’ll be with you in the next chapter. Because it does truly feel like we’re turning the page. It’s for you to decide what the first words will be.
