Why am I a Certified Wellness Coach?

You may find yourself wondering why a Certified Wellness Coach is a tarot practitioner. Or you could be asking why a tarot practitioner bothers to maintain her certification. Both are great questions and I would love to tell you a little about my journey.
I first started the Wellness Coach Certification program through the National Academy in Sports Medicine (NASM) in January 2023. I knew I wanted to help people and I have always been passionate about living an aligned life. I believe we need to incorporate all aspects of life, like diet, rest, fitness, stress, and relationships, to truly live well. After graduating 9 months later in October, I found I was at a crossroads.
It didn't feel authentic to tell people how much protein to eat and to move 150 vigorous minutes per week when "wellness" felt so much bigger. How could I best help someone whose main stressor was their relationship or job in an ethical way? I was also starting to dig deep into exploring my spirituality. Although a student of organized religion, I never aligned with one school of thought or practice, finding the rules too rigid and frankly, generally anti-woman. I started consuming everything I could about my ancestral practices while finding peace in the tarot.
Which brings us to now. I am a professional reader who lets the universal energy flow through the cards to you. I get to speak with incredible people and work with them over time (or just once!) to help bring them more aligned with their goals or, as some might say, their highest self. My personal philosophy is to stay away from the buzzwords and stick with what the energy tells me. We still believe in science over here and I maintain my certification to educate myself on the latest NASM practices. My continuing education this year focuses on behavior change and how to create lasting results. I bring this background into my readings to give you the why, when, and most importantly, how.
